Delivery policy

1.Introduction

1.1 This policy contains details of the delivery methods, periods and changes that apply to orders for our products made through our website or by telephone , email or fax.

1.2 This policy is a legally binding document and forms part of the contract of sale between you and us made under our terms and conditions of sale.

2. Free delivery.

2.1 We offer free standard delivery to all mainland UK addresses on all orders over GBP £300.00

excluding VAT. Upgrades to the service are available at extra cost after we at Melform limited have discussed and arranged these costs with our couriers. We do not offer free delivery to overseas orders, for now we can only provide UK sales and delivery. However we will be negotiating terms with overseas couriers soon.

2.2 All other orders will be subject to delivery charges as detailed in section 5.

3. Geographical limitations

3.1 There are no geographical limitations to our delivery unless prohibited by UK law or trade restrictions

3.2 All orders from outside the UK must be first agreed by email at enquiries@melform.net

3.3 All carriage charges for orders placed from anywhere outside the UK must be paid by the customer.

4. Delivery methods and periods.

4.1 Goods are dispatched according to our customers individual requests at the time of order.

4.2 The methods that we use to deliver our products and the time periods within which delivery is usually completed, are as follows

A) For UK orders under GBP 300.00 excluding VAT there is a standard charge for the economy service. All other delivery options are charged at extra cost. The maximum weight per box or boxes is 30 KG.

Items dispatched within the UK will be dispatched using our couriers standard delivery charges.

If you wish you can arrange your own collection. Please note that this must be pre arranged with Melform Limited.

We can hold your order until instruction to send.

B) European orders . The customer can arrange their own shipper. Please let us know at time of ordering.

C) When this facility is available, all International orders shipping must be arranged by the customer.

5. Delivery charges

5.1 The delivery period set out in this section 5 are indicative only and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.

5.2 APC Charges

Items sent within the UK can be dispatched using the following APC courier Logistics services.

Prices shown are excluding VAT and are per delivery.

5.3 2-3 economy delivery service over £300.00 GBP FREE

2 – days economy delivery service under 1 KG £6.99

2 – days economy delivery service from 1 KG to 5 KG £8.50

2 – days economy delivery service from 5 kg to 30 KG £10.75

5.4 Please note that all orders are deliverable only if they are available from stock.

5.5 If available the delivery process will be as follows.

Day 1. Order placed by 3.00pm.

Day 2. Order processed and packaged

Day 3. Order collected by APC .

Day 4. Order delivered day before 4 pm

6.00 Additional delivery charges

6.1 Additional charges will incur when the location of the delivery address is outside the Postcode delivery area for APC couriers standard delivery charges. Examples of these are the Scotland borders and highlands and Scottish isles and Northern and Southern Ireland.

6.2 Before placing a order please enquire about these charges using the contact details from our website.

7.00 Receipt and signature.

All goods are dispatched with a consignment note. When delivered all goods must be received in person at the delivery address stated on the order. The consignment note must be signed with a signature.

8.00 Delivery Problems.

8.1 If you experience any problem with a delivery , please contact us using our contact details that we publish on our website or otherwise notify to you.

8.2 If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products and such failure is your fault and you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the relevant time limit we may agree to rearrange for re delivery of the products , however , we reserve the rights to charge you for the actual costs of re delivery ( even where the initial delivery was free of charge)

8.3 An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below.

A) You provided the wrong delivery address for delivery.

B) There is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided.

C) The address for delivery is not reasonably accessible.

D) The address for delivery cannot be safely accessed.

E) If in person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery: or

F) If in person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.
